Method
Add cubed courgettes to a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, or until soft and drain well. Alternatively steam for around 5- 8 minutes.
Add this to a blender, gradually adding a few tablespoons of water/milk until all the courgettes are smooth creating a puree texture
Once the courgette puree is super smooth it is ready to be enjoyed!
Our courgette puree recipe is perfect for weaning, serve on its own to get little ones used to this new taste or try as a dip with finger foods.
This weaning puree can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and frozen up to 2 months.
